Hey there everyone! I have some more news to add. Firstly I want to again Thank all of you for supporting this website. THANK YOU! As I mentioned previously I had to raise the prices a bit. The reality is that it really is a bandaid for the problem. The bottom line is I am going to have to hang it up or at least as a full time endeavor. I need to find another way to make a living, as this is no longer cutting it. I stopped taking a paycheck months ago and I have been living off my savings which is damn near gone now. As I said before that is no way to run a business. I had a great run for many years, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. I am not sure of the actual cutoff, but I am trying to stretch it out till after the first of the year. When this happens I am going to take away the monthly membership option and just make it ala carte or credits only, which I will have to raise slightly again I hate to say. This makes the most sense to me because then I am not obligated to do 3 updates every week and the site can still stay up for people to use. I really don't know what else I can do. I just hope I can stretch it out that long, but it may have to be sooner. In any event I will see if I can keep up with 3 a week but it probably won't be every week that's for sure. And don't worry, if you have a monthly membership it will be valid until it runs out. The recurring ones will be terminated but still be good for the month until it is supposed to rebill. I hope you all understand and I apologize for the way things are turning out. Who knows maybe someday things will turn around and I will be able to do it again but I kinda doubt it unfortunately.

JB not trying to talk you out of your business decision but I'm curious to know if it might be beneficial for you to sway your business model away from the higher priced porn stars. They are really great but most of the time I don't even realize they have a head or body higher than their hips. Unless they are using it in some other fashion! LOL. I don't know what you pay the porn stars but Im wondering if it's easy and cheaper to source legs feet and butts through Craigslist or modeling agencies. Nudity is not necessary for me so I think that not requiring the models to show nudity would allow you to deepen your model Pool for potentially a lot cheaper price too. I'm sure living in LA gives you a ton of girls looking for a big break. I found an amateur girl on Flickr who you might be able to shoot a quick and dirty video with. Well, I am not around since 1989, but I have been a member for at least eight years. (There is no record of it that I can find.) I first saw your videos on news service sites, which is how I discovered the site. I have been on and off on other sites too, but JB Video is the only site which I have always thought is worth every penny. Why? You deliver. You deliver consistently. You deliver perfectly. In essence, you set the "gold standard" against which everything else is measured. I think the reason you deliver so well is because you actually like and enjoy what you are selling. You know what your customers want first hand. That is why all your long-time fans are die-hard supporters. Even the perfect business may go downhill - and it really does not make sense to eat through your savings account to keep it alive. We will all be happy if you do keep the site up, but if the cost of making the videos is not getting covered, then by all means, please move forward to something else that will actually pay the bills. You are already as successful as things get - JB Video is older than Twitter, Facebook, even Google! This does not mean I am not sad to see it come to an end - I am. But, having gone in and out of financial holes myself, I also fully understand the situation. You gotta do what you gotta do. Thanks for all the videos and pictures!

Hi I am new to your site, but have been a fan pre internet. I am sad to see you leave. I know they are competitors but would you (and they) consider merging with Playtime Promotions? They only sell their movies on the web.Combining your stores andadding their videos to stream seems like a natural to me.

Why not raise the membership fees to what you need them to be and see what happens? I know I'd stay on. If not, please do updates here and there, I'd hate to see you go away completely.

I am shocked to hear you will be closing the site jb.I have been a member since 1999.Is it because the site is too expensive , alot of members left the site?
